Ms Fletcher is the GT Specialist at Baseline Elementary.
Ms Fletcher has been working in education for over 16 years, in Early Childhood Education, Montessori Education, School Counseling, Art Therapy and Mental Health Counseling, and as a Creative and Performing Arts Teacher. She has also worked and volunteered with many schools and community organizations in working with children and families in both Arkansas and New Mexico. She has a 17 year old son who attends high school in the Little Rock School District. She loves writing, photography, music, computers and technology, learning, and getting out in nature with her family.
This is her second year as Baseline's Gifted Teacher, and she is enjoying getting to know all our students and Baseline's community. She is looking forward to doing some exciting projects in the future with Baseline students and families!

Some of her favorite projects in the past have been helping students in Albuquerque write, direct, and perform their own plays at the Lobo Theater; working with Urban Native Youth in expressing themselves through multi art media with the Run to the Sun program and North 4th Street Art Center; working with the Albuquerque District Attorney's office to have students display their artwork there and talk about what they need in their neighborhoods with the news media; taking a GT team from North Little Rock to the World Fest and 50th Anniversary of Central High's Integration, where they won trophies and recognition; and assisting kids at ROCAN's after school program to do photography and make their own Newsletter, among many others!
